Krystle prides herself in being one of those freakishly organized people that also excels at big picture, creative thinking. Her superpowers include turning complex challenges into simple, clear and effective solutions.

Being the go-to associate creative director for massive website overhauls isn’t always glamorous, but Krystle Lilliestierna is never one to shy away from complicated behind-the-scenes work. As a rising digital star, she knows all too well that doing so helps build brands and their business and has successfully led site redesigns for Fortune 500 companies, including Verizon, General Motors and Honeywell. Inventively using smart tools, Krystle creates processes that turn complex challenges into design systems focused on being organized, simple, clear, and yes, effective.

Krystle spearheaded the creation of a component library for Honeywell that became essential in launching their building technology site quickly and efficiently — and became the foundation for future Honeywell sites. With a design staff limited to herself and a freelancer, Krystle was able to guide a large group of clients through 80+ visual page comps in a short amount of time while making revisions live for instant approvals. This process streamlined the approval experience and wowed the clients, leading to additional new business work for our team.

In addition to reshaping how websites are made, Krystle proactively leads efforts to bring greater awareness to digital accessibility standards among her creative peers. By assembling a task force of designers and writers, she oversaw the creation of The Accessibility Library for Creatives — a much-needed resource that breaks down the success criteria of accessibility standards that her fellow creatives can easily follow to create amazing, and accessible, digital work. A classic win-win. Krystle has also organized and hosted accessibility workshops, applying her talent of turning complex ideas into actionable steps.

Krystle currently leads a talented creative team at MRM who focuses on creating 360° experiences for Buick and GMC owners across multiple digital platforms.
